It wasn’t a dream
One morning Gregor Samsa wakes up and find that he has
transformed into an insect.
He wakes up and he is freaking up, but he is not really
concerned about his actual situation (that he has turned into a giant insect),
he is more concerned about him getting late for work. He is a travelling agent
who is trying his best to pay his father’s debt and at the same time taking
care of his parents and a seventeen-year-old sister.
Despite of this transformation, He did not think about him
even once. He was accepting what he became overnight and although everyone was
taking proper care of him and was trying to make him comfortable still there
was a feeling of alienation that I could sense.

In my opinion, the language was so easy that it just took me
a couple of hours to complete this book. I will add more books by Franz Kafka
on my bookshelf. This is an amazing classic that everyone should read at least
one in their lives.
